G&L Tribute S-500 Natural (Pre-owned)

Devised from Leo Fender back in the late 1970s, G&L is the pinnacle of Leo's years of experience and design with Fender and Musicman. The Tribute series is a homage to guitars of yesteryear. with a few nice modern additions added.

The Swamp Ash body is gorgeous looking thanks to the natural gloss finish, with lightweight too to boot. The maple neck is silky smooth in the hands, paired nicely with the rosewood fingerboard. In terms of electronics the guitar is fitted with MFD (Magnetic Field Design) pickups. These essentially shift the magnetic field that picks up the string vibration to the top of the pickup, rather than the middle. This boasts more output, less noise, and allows you to really fine tune the output of the pickup for each string, allowing for a super responsive tone with lots of clarity.

The mini toggle switch allows for different pickup combinations when engaged, from bridge and neck pickup on in parallel to all 3 pickups on in series, this guitar is super versatile. It is also super stable in tuning thanks to the G&L Dual Fulcrum tremolo, giving you a smooth motion on the tremolo arm whilst keeping the guitar in tune.
